I saw this postcard? on ebay awhile ago.I thought it could be Sidlow church at first, but now im sure it isnt.I would have thought someone who likes churches in the area would know.I do have a photograph of the dark haired man with the moustache, second row from the front and second from left,in my local history collection. The photo was taken by "The Surrey photographic company" Reigate. He is wearing "quality" clothes in my photo, so i presume he was probally a well off, and known local figure in the area at that time.

On the 29/12/14,i commented on this photo/postcard.When i first looked at the photo i thought the church in the background could well be Sidlow church, but taking a second look, i knew it was not.I have now been informed by well known local historian,Mr Roger Packham, that the church is actually,St Margarets church,Chipstead,Surrey.

I have the identical postcard also sent by Charles R.Palmer to Miss Rowe 45 Somers Road, Reigate. He says: 'This is the choir of S.Margaret's, Chipstead grouped outside their church door. The lady sings also; she is not the Rectors's wife'
