This was my great grandparents' home through the 1920's and 30's, William Wallace Cook and his wife Florence. They were at Warcoppice for a short while before this. William had retired from running the Straits Trading Company in Singapore. My grandparents were married in Merstham and the reception was held here in 1928 I think.
