Sir John Lang (67) seen at his home at Walton-on-the-Hill, Surrey as he feeds his goldfish last
evening. Sir John Lang - who is Chairman of two companies - is the man whose report on the
Ferranti affair caused a sensation in the House of Commons. The report will be followed by
a second part in the autumn - and will deal with how to prevent anything like the Ferranti
Affair happening again. The Government has accepted the Ferranti offer of the return to the
Treasury of ?4,250,000 from the profit of ?5,772,964 on the Bloodhound Missile Contract.
