I did my Motor Vehicle apprenticeship at Wadham-Stringer in the late 60s-mid 70s and wish to research the history of the garage and its predecessor, Wray Park Garages. If anyone has any information or pictures of Wray Park Garages or Wadham-Stringer, I would love to hear from you.

Hi Clive. This is an unbelievable coincidence! You may remember me as I introduced you to your wife!I have also been looking at the history of Wray Park garages. There was a post card sold on a well known auction website not long ago of the garage in the 1940/50's. I hope the Mods allow links to be included? Best regards, your fellow apprentice, Jon Powell.

I'm in the process of restoring my Jaguar Mk IX supplied new from Wray Park Garages in 1961. I want to register it under its original registration number. However the previous owner, having emigrated, is untraceable and I have no supporting documentation. If anybody knows how to trace the records of Wray Park Garages those records are probably my only hope of showing, to the satisfaction of the relevant authority, that the reg. number is matched to the chassis number. Any information about Wray Park Garages would be most helpful. Thanks for reading. Colin.

We lived in a flat in Warren Road, Reigate,in the late 1950s and my Mum was the secretary of a manager at Wray Park Garages. His name was Bill Kendall. He was a lovely chap and he let us use his holiday cottage in Harrowbarrow, near Callington in Cornwall, for a number of years.

slightly different request for info. i am trying to track down any descendant of the Hodgkins family - who owned Wray Park Garages. Reigate rugby club was bequeathed the land we play on today in memory of Eric (who had two daughters) and we're celebrating our 90th annivaersay 2024. any leads greatly appreciated
